Coming from the South
I-25 North, to E-470, to Morrison Road West to Rooney Road, Right (North) on Rooney Road 1 mile to Track.
Coming from the North
I-25 South, to I-70 West, to Colfax Exit,
Colfax West to Rooney Road, turn Left (South) 1/2 mile to track.
Coming from the East: I-70 West through Denver to the Colfax exit head West to Rooney Road, turn left (South) 1 km to track

Track Info
Positioned along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Thunder Valley Motocross Park is located in Jefferson County, Colorado on the western edge of the Denver suburb of Lakewood.
The track is easily accessible within 15 minutes of downtown Denver, 30 minutes from Denver International Airport and just an hour from several major mountain resorts.
The 130 acre park offers the following ammenities::
- Fully automated sprinkler system
- Newly constructed 50′ X 60′ race headquarters building
- New public address system with FM transmitter
- Pit parking for 700 plus riders
- Abundant field parking around the park for spectators
- Spectator seating
- Announcer’s tower
- Safe tunnel access to the interior of the track
- Accessible via 2 major 4 lane highways
- Heavy equipment used for track preparation
CAMPING LOCATION DESCRIPTIONS:
Track / View – There
will be space allocated at the North end next to the track. You will
be able to view a significant section of the race from this area. No
in/out traffic from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on September 25th and 26th.
Only one vehicle per Camping Space will be allowed in this area. Class
A, Class C, 5th Wheels and Bumper Pull Trailers only. No tents will be
allowed in this area. Dirt Surface.
Track / On Premise – This connects directly to the track and is approximately 50 yards from the North end of the track. Asphalt surface.
Rooney / Off Premise
– This is within walking distance, approximately 10 – 15 minutes. We
do provide bus service to and from the front gate (1 minute ride) at
frequent intervals. Dirt Surface.
Rooney Family / Off Premise – Same as #2, sectioned off to be a quiet area for families. Dirt Surface.
All reservation are valid for 5 Nights from September 22nd – 26th. Campers will be accepted:
September 22nd - 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
September 23rd – 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
September 24th – 8:00 a.m. – Noon.
Camping Reservations must be paid prior to arrival.
Tickets are not included.
Ticket purchases must be paid prior to arrival.
